not long till harvest??

i have 2 ak47 plants under a 400w hps in a 3x3 area and theyve been in flower for 5 weeks. any1 ever grown this strain or any1 know how long i got left? got the seeds from marijuana-seeds.nl and they said it flowerd in under 7 weeks. dog chewed up usb cable for camera so cant show pictures until i get a new cord but will when i get 1. thanx for all ur help every1 who has gave advice so far couldnt have done it w/o MP

most strains take 8-12 only way to know is to look at the trichs magnified.

Get a jewlers loop and look at your trics to see what color they are, thats your best bet ! How are they looking tho ?

yea i figured that just thought there might be an easier way but they are doin fine thanx 4 askin. the main cola is bout 7in long and gainin weight fast also i didnt lollipop them so i have around 18-20 "main" bud sites on each plant that are about 4-5in tall. i just needed to know how long i got left so i know when to stop using nutes

what percentage of your pistils are turning brown? any of the leaves dying and falling off? are the buds looking really swollen? are they super sticky? if the answer to those is yes you are close...

i just noticed a couple of orange hairs about 3 days ago and they are sticky 4 sure. just washed my hands and touched them and my fingers felt like they almost stuck together. and the smell is jsut getting stronger and stronger every day smells like fruit and dog crap lol

hahaha thats pretty funny bro. i know i cant get a definitive answer w/o pics but my dog chewed up my usb cable to connect my digital camera to the computer so i cant show pics and couldnt wait to ask this question. just impatient. but goin to wal-mart in next couple of days so i will for sure put up pics then

a friend of mine used to grow AK47.... his usually took between 8-9 weeks in 4' x 4' closet, in soil, under a 1000W HPS.... they were also clones....

None of that really means anything. The only way to know how close you are getting to harvest is to check the trichs with at least 30x magnification. I have a plant that is 3-4 weeks out and the hairs are almost completely orange.

You will find that the breeders' flowering estimates are often not correct--it generally takes a week or 2 longer than they say.

thanks for the advise this is only my second grow and i appreciate all the help does any1 know where i can get a cheap magnifier. also will go tomorrow to get cable for camera so will have pics then

get the pocket microscope from radio shack.... it $10 or $12....
