aloha peeps. i live on the big island of hawaii and need a lil help. im looking for a soil mix that i can use to grow and veg without having to feed. ( add ferts ). i have seen subcools mix in the magazines, but i am only growing 10 plants and the mix he has seems to big. the reason why i need it to be a no feed mix is because i live in kona, and i will be growing on the other side of the island. my bro will be watering when need, but i dont trust him as far as feeding goes. thats why i need it to be a good soil mix.basically i want to transplant my starters and not need to do anything except water. i will be checking up on them like twice a month. but other than that its up to my bro to watch over them. if anything looks weird he will call me. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH A NO NEED TO FEED MIX?. THX AND ALOHA

there have been a couple a threads that downsized the subcool recipe.
and re mixed to suit their needs or available ingredients.
hopefully they will see yur post and chime in. untill then, search in the diff forums and stickeys. also try posting in a diff catagorie. be patient, what yer lookin for is here. good luck $$

edit: 10 plants outdoors? i figure the soil in general, on the islands, is pretty good. i would think the batch of mix u need is relative to what and where yur gonna b growin. personally for a guerilla grow i wouldn't skimp on the only nutes fed, being from the initial planting/soil prep. $$

thz for the help. hopefully someone will see and post a link or something. in the meen time ill keep searching. the soil is good here on the islands, but it all depends where. as for me, ill be growing in what used to be a sugar cane field. its all coverd with bushes like crazy. the soil is clay like so i no for sure im gonna have to add cinders.im gonna basically be growing it smack in the open. if choppers fly over than for sure they will see it. the reason be is because it can rain alot so if i was to grow closer to the trees than the plants might not get enough sun and cause water rott. ( it happened to me before )...so once again thx for the help. anyone else?. aloha
