Nirvana Kush and Afghan Grow, 1st time grower

Afghan, My HxS is nothing to compare with. It had a good start, and then ran into some issues if you read my whole journal. She's been outside about a week now, and I have yet to go check on it. Probably on Thursday, and I'll try to update about how she is outside.

Its about that time. Two weeks into the grow and my plants are doing good. I have 3 big healthy Kush plants that are developing bushy short growth with broad leaves, theyre also starting to grow leaves towards the nodes of the plant where the branch has extended.
ALthough these are doing well, one of them I had to let go. It was one of the plants that I left outside for 2hrs, it got toasted and couldnt overcome the 3rd degree burns. The other one which was left outside is recovering well, not growing as fast as the others but is still growing.

1st pic - healthiest and bushiest Kush, hoping this one is female so I can start cloning
2nd - another good looking Kush plant
3rd - SkunkxHaze doing fine, not the fastest growing one but OK
4th - Afghan, this is my oldest plant and its doing so much better under this fluoro.

Removed my fluoros and replaced them with 26w Cfls. Also added a window shield to reflect the light onto plants. The growth has been evident since these additions, very pleased with grow. Ill post pics asap.
WOndering when should I add nutes??? Using FF most ppl say 4 weeks, but would it hurt to go a little longer witout them? If so how much longer w/o nutes? Afraid of nute burning my plants like I did with the Afghans.

Its only been 3 days but as mentioned earlier, they have grown much since I added 4 more CFLs and a window shield to reflect the light. Keeping my lights as close as possible, had a few burn spots on my plants but theyre fine.:hubba:
Still havnt had the chance to hit the hydro store but when i DO im going ot buy superthrive and mylar. Going to make a veg box for my grow too.

My plants have just turned 3 weks old. Ive read on a few threads that FFsoil doesnt need nutes till a mnth. Im guessing 3 weeks is needed here in my case.
This pic is one of my kush plants that is starting to yellow and brown on the older fan leaves, it is also very brittle and starting to fall off the stem. Can any1 chime in on this one?

Ok guys a quick update. A few hiccups in the past week
1st off I started watering my plants with tap water thats been sitting overnight in a big pot to get rid off chlorine and other stuff. I was watering with spakletss water and figured that these plants drink too much. The thing was that the ph was a bit higher than ph of sparkletts, so im guessing thats why plants are looking yellow and brown like the pic above.

2nd hiccup: my light fixture which holds my cfls fell over and onto plants for about an 1 1/2 before realizing and burned 3 of my plants. one fo them have beeen reduced to have its size the oters are missing fan leaves. im not a very happy camper but its a lesson learned. I NEeD to make a grow box!

1,2, 4 and 6 are my Kush. 6 being the healthiest. 4 has been fimmed b/c the top was pretty much burnt away so hopefully it recovers well after this fimming.
3 and 5 are my Super Haze. 3 is the one thats half burnt.

Hey guys, its been awhile but heres a quick update as to whats been happening since the last post. Pics posted on the next post.

Began giving plants nutes at third week. I am up to 3 qrtrs of a tspn for nutes this week. Ive been feeding them twice each week and no nute burn so far.
My plants have been recovering well from their ealier setbacks. The only plant i toped has grown two new long branches

Can sum1 tell me if my plants are stretching?

Theyre going into their 6th week. Going to buy a few more ligths for the sides so the bottom leaves ge some light too.

planning to use 3 or 5 gallons. Should i start potting them into bigger pots?

Does anyone see signs of stretching?

Any comment would be nice.

Plants have been transplanted into 2 and 3 gallon pots. I think it was about time b/c some of them were needing watering EVERY single day. Some were also showing slow growth and yellowing on leaves. Superthrive was added ot the plants right before I transplanted them to dampen the soil for a smooth transplant. All of them did transplant smoothly and They seem to be growing again.
4 of the healthiest plants are in 3 gallon pots while the rest of them are in 2 gallon. I am hoping for a mother out of one of these four plants so I can start a SOG. Bought clonex and will start taking clones after the veg box is built.
2 Kush have shown sex and it sems like all 3 soopa haze are going ot be male. =(
I am supercropping and topping all my plants now. I figure Ill give them another 10 days or so to recover from topping and put them into flower.

Is it ok to use run off water to water other plants. Granted ph is balanced and all.

my 2 remaining HxS are outside. I've been supercropping them too, and they're about 36" tall, and getting mighty bushy. No signs of sex yet, but I'm going to take a clone off each this morning, and see whats what...

Today I put my plants to flower. Turned off the lights at 8AM and will put my 400w HPS on at 8PM. Bought a timer and will figur eout how that works tonight.
FOund a male, unfortunately the biggest and healthiezst of my plants :cry: - Off with its head.
