DUN DUN DUN....

Okay, lastnight before I went to bed, I watered my plants and changed my bulbs for this thread.

Well... Life went on and tonight I went to take an updated picture because I was so excited, opened the cave to find the following pictures.

To make a long story short, I don't know *** happened. Either the new bulbs put off too much heat, or they totally didn't like the light, or some kind of strange stress... but even the soil was more dried out than usual after a nightly watering. So, I am thinking these NEW bulbs put off more heat than I thought?

To me, it looks like a lack of water... but they got water lastnight. hmmmm

WOW ironically enough! All hope is not lost... I let the plant stay in the dark lastnight, no water, no lights, and it started perking back up if you can believe it!! :holysheep:

Obviously with the stress these plants are a total waste, but something was way off... just don't know what it was. I will try and get pics in a bit.

Looka like the new lights tried to dry them out fast and almost succeded in it id check the heat and might think on switching back man they were so pretty its a shame what happened

Yeah, I think the warm white LED might have had something to do with it. I don't know why, but it seemed like most of the damage was done on that side/area.

These are the pics taken today after the disaster! They're starting to recover slightly... I am going to put the LED experience on hold and test them with veg. mode only on my next few grows, and I am going to do a micro grow from start to finish closer to the end of the year. I want to get SOMETHING going. I am going to focus most of my attention on my white rhinos I have veggin right now.I need to get them some better lighting conditions. But ... I will be back!

Another LED grow coming to a crashing HALT.

Since I've removed ALL LED lights in the setup, the plant has perked back up. I've put in CFL's to finish off the flowering for the time being and added a couple other plants.

The LEDs I might use for a micro grow later on and for my veg setup. However, since discovering the angle of how the LED array is built seems to be one of the most important aspects. Each bulb is supposed to have a specific angle to do the most good for the plants. :fid:

Dude, we got it... this is the third time you posted this link, and like the 6 or 7th time you've posted it in the forum.

WE SAW IT... and it was ANOTHER led experience that was incomplete, inconclusive, and never brought back to life. Thanks for nada! And over a year old.

lol MD.

when i saw the first pic on here.....that was a sad site!!!. Im glad it came back to life though, get up some more pics of it under CFL bro.
