is it ok too use miracle grow dirt with fertilizer in it the 3 month release moister control

Worst dirt ever- I've used it myself personally, along side a couple of other brands of dirt, simply for my own comparison. MG time released soil burns my plants, makes their leaves mottle, and pock with nute burn.

If you are buying MG dirt at your local DIY store, then at least invest in the "Organic" MG kind. It has less nutes, doesnt seems to be time released and doesnt burn my plants as badly.

Moisture control is too hot, imo. So is regular MG. The organic kind seems to fair ok- but in my opinion, Miracle Grow, just wasnt made for MJ.

When I buy soil, I look to see how much other crap is already in there. I try to find the brand with the least "food" in it and add my own according to my own feeding schedules. If it's time released, you have no control over how much is too much.

:yeahthat: get soil with little to no food in it, then when it comes to your own feeding schedule, theat plays no part in any burns, its all down to you then :D

i use that soil in my grows and dont have any problems with root rot at all never it is a little strong on the nutes but my plants take to it all the time There are a few other growers in here that use MG TBG does and all his plants are the bomb so good luck on what ever soil you use peace

I use MG as well. No problems. Just watch with the nutes. I dont use any during veg. ONly small amounts during Flower.

i use the MG too but i "cut" it with just plain old top soil and perlite i do a 50% top soil 30% MG and 20% perlite and mix well and then after a couple of months start using the MG sticks to compensate for that the time release stuff doesn't have in it. the MG soil has allot of N in it but only a little amount of P and K but when you use it (like it say son the front of the bag) with the MG plant food (sticks or watering powders) it can feed for a long time. just invest in a pH soil tester and check it every month and you can grow and grow and grow

I am using organic miracle grow potting soil right now on my indoor. my 3 clones are very healthy. cheak it out

I've got that exact soil working right now...I've had 37 of 60 seeds come up. Now I'm kinda worried about the plants health....

i wouldn't start seeds in it but i've used had a few problems but after you learn how to use it it works fine. like it says feeds for three months so no need for you to.

i've used it for yrs with no problems, but if you want some good soil,i see alot of people getting good results with the fox farm soil.you can get it either online or at your local hydro shop
