well id say yes and no.....if you HAVE to when the lower leaves that are round start to yellow feed with at most a 1/4 strength what they recommend, any more and it WILL kill them.

buy some 4 doller a bottle fish emoulsion or compost and make a tea for a doller or less.

theres going to be a few that will say no and even worse about m/g,,,,,,, ive use it for 2 grows,,,,,,,and thats from the seeding on up,,,,the only thing about m/g i dont like is them darn gnats,,,,, ill put my new grow link you can see urself that m/g isnt as bad as ive read about,,,,, when pic was taken they was 2 weeks old

gnats are caused by infested medium...not MG. add a layer of sand or perlite or mulch and dont water as often. gnats thrive in consantly damp soil.

It will do just fine in that soil but it's not the best choice out there. I recommend pro mix. Very good stuff if you can find it or order it off the net. TBG has used it many times and his results were fantastic. Check out his grow journals if you want to see some end results of mg grows. Take care and be safe. Keep us posted on your progress.

the time release MG, is what i would try to avoid. at what time does it release????? no1 knows, it all depends on how often you water, how much you water and the regularity of your watering. for you to get the correct "release" of the nutes, it requires you to water the exact same amount at the exact same time EVERYDAY. with the liquid MG you can use this also, although id say spend a few extra $$ and get a reccomended MJ nute, but if you are using MG, NEVER use it at full strength, id go 2/3 at the very most.

say it were 1 scoop for every gallon, then you would get 3 gallons of water, but only add 2 scoops to it.
