Chaz,

Looks good, MOJO to ya'. How far away is your light from your girls? The light looks really close in the pics, hows the temp?

beautiful plants and great photos
they look great, the light does look a little close could just be the photo but you might get a better light spread up a tiny bit.

Thanks for the responses Stiky & Bogart. The light is quite close but its a glass covered, air cooled light so heat is not an issue. I hadn't considered light spread. Do you think i'd be better off raising it a bit to get to those few buds on the outside rather than getting maximum lumens on the center buds?

Day 48 and the girls are getting sticky and heavy. Put stakes in the corner pots and ran some twine around for support. Hoping to harvest around day 63.

Chaz,

Im still very very new at growing, so take this with a grain of salt, but it might be worthwhile to get a 1000watt hps and raise it up some. I would think this would give better light saturation to the buds on the parimeter of your flower area and help increase yield. If im not thinking logically here then please let me know, im here to learn and share just like everyone else

Overall i think everything is looking good, any guess's as to what your yield will be once you harvest?

Stiky,
This is my first HPS light/tent grow so I'm learning as i go. From everything I've heard 600w HPS are the way to go as far as lumens per sq ft. I've probably got more plants under this light than would be recomended but you couldn't tell from the smile on my face when i unzip that flap every night. As far as yeild I really don't know. I'm hoping for a pound:icon_smile:

So definitly day 53 here. must have been high when i calculated some of my earlier posts. Buds are getting very heavy, trics are turning cloudy, hairs turning orange and I'm starting to get just a little to happy every time i open my tent. At least another week or so before harvest.

I've read something on here about going to total darkness for 3 days before harvest for increased THC production. Anyone know about this?

BUD ****!!!

Thanks Maine, I'm really pleased with this grow but am humbled by your grow room. hoping to build a basement room next winter but am struggling with logistics like water supply and air circulation. You available for consults?

Thanks NE,
I transplanted from MA to ME twenty years ago and have no regrets. Come on up.

Holy smokes! Nice grow. I've never turned off the lights like that, but I have heard it helps for some strains, and not others. You could harvest some when they're ready, then leave however many you want to test the theory, for the three days. Good luck.

So 9 weeks tommorrow. I'm itchin to harvest but restraining myself. Think i'm running late because of a timer screw up in week 2. I cut down one bud which was getting dry on top for some reason, 16 grams wet. anyone know what percent of the weight is lost to drying?

Three bud shots and 1 of a vertical ScroG I'm doing in the closet for fun.

what ever your wet weight is divide by 4 gives you a close dry weight so 4 grams and a lil under
