You see the sky much better than me living near city lights.

I grew up taking the Milky Way for granted. It was just always there. Now I gotta drive like 50 miles to be able to see it. If I counted them, I might see 50-60 stars on a cold, clear night.
My 'hood is lit up like a dad-gummed prison yard - everybody's so danged scared of the dark. Every house has floodlights or super-bright led's glaring at ya' from their three car garages. You need a ball cap on to keep the glare outta yer eyes so's you can see what's at your feet if you walk at night.
