hi guys,
just a quick question, (my mates not around to ask)

should i cut the big sun leaves off now , i cut most of that block out light but left the one's on round the bottom of the plants , my girls are 48 days into flowering now

I WOULDNT cut anything.
it will shock the girl, and slow growth.
just tuck leaves out of the way, or tie it to another part of the plant.

:ignore: I always cut at least 25% of the leafs, espesiclally the bottom mess. I have never not cut the leafs so i couldnt tel ya if it turn out better. i feel the more light the better. I plant my plant sideways alot the tops all grow up and together. i have emazing results from this method. Lots of worm castings and fox farms ocean spray. Microsae (however you spelll it) is great too. Botaniticare is the only way to go with the Beastie Buds and the othertwo that go along with it. Cut those leafs get some light to those plants!! The plants get energy from the food you feed it and if it has a bunch of other leaves to feed taking away from the tops ect i feel i takes away. Just my opinion. I grow the best in the land, so im told. Folllow the botanicare recipe you will have amazing results!! Of course add the macro nutes for extra. I'm still kinda new at this. 2 yrs. i kniw guys who have been growing for 25 yrs and they cut off mot the leafs. try it on a couple you tell me. try planting sideways in a 20 gaLLON BUCKETS YOU'LL **** YER PANTS. I go both ways. One consideration I have is air flow. If there is a dense canopy I get rid of the weaker fans. Just a trim up for better air movement. If there's room in the cabinet I leave them.

lower, scraggly growth is different then healthy fan leaves...
