I have thrown lots of harvested pot away. PM infected pot shouldn't be smoked, mold on hash (wasn't dried properly) and a plant that got male resin ruined it...seed pods everywhere.

**** happens. Ask Big Sur about his entire grow getting ruined with hemp resin. **** happens.

Jorge Cervantes has a video on how to wash away powdery mildew on YouTube. it's pretty cool. When you say hemp resin, you mean pollen, right?

Yup you can hide it but it is still inside the buds... can't be good for a person inhaling mildew into your lungs especially if you have lung issues. Some may go ahead and smoke it but not me or my friends.
 
I've fed my chickens the leaves many times before.. eggs were delicious and yes the hens and rooster did get high .. they slept the rest of the day . dogs like them, cats like them and our vet says it's good for them every now and again.

I was working on an anthracite mine up in kwazulu near ulundi.
the were lots of Marula trees there. The fruit would fall on the ground & the elephants would come eat up a bunch of those fermenting berries and stagger around - drunk!
I kid you not

I have heard of this. So interesting you experienced it firsthand. Humans are not the only ones who need to self-medicate.

Yeah - that was back around '86 - `87. They sell some hooch made from those berries - called Amarula.
a different world then.
I'm grateful to have seen/experienced a lot of it. My sons have too. too.
