My sister-in-law in Texas found this one for us, she is training her to be a service dog. She used to raise white German Shepherds and sell them in Longview, Texas

Females make great Dogs with proper training she will be a very good service dog and companion.
The males I always found very suborn to train, but doable.

Females make great Dogs with proper training she will be a very good service dog and companion.
The males I always found very suborn to train, but doable.

We've had both males and female German Shepherds and they were all outstanding, but prefer spayed females.

In nature the males are bigger and dominate, so the females are more willing to not compete for that status, which makes them less willful and easier to train.
They also don't get into as many dog fights, but are still highly protective of home and family. When the male wolf is out hunting, it is the female wolf that is in your face when you crawl into a wolf den looking for pups.

Fool is not a word I typically use, nor do I have issues with them per se, though I have endorsed movements to reduce the number of warning labels and letting nature take its course.
