Just went to the store to get groceries... $9 for 18 F'n eggs! It was cheaper to get 2 lbs. of bacon than it was for the eggs. And I gotta have my bacon. Got some more pancake mix and syrup, and blueberry muffin mix for our sweet tooth.

You can substitute 1/4 c applesauce for each egg. I make stuff like that all the time for the vegans. It don't taste vegan. The people here don’t even notice it. Never did. Matter if fact last time I made PB cookies for my daughter she asked if I would make them vegan. She said she liked the cookie texture better in the vegan version.

Good morning venerable brothers and sisters!
Another day of rain starting at 37F and predicted to reach 54F.
The window contractors showed up, albeit late due to the heavy rain, and we now have four of our six bedroom windows covered with plywood and both office windows. The projected turn around time to re-manufacture them is eight weeks.
I got a notice from the Gresham Ford dealership that there is a recall notice on our Ford EV and they've offered to perform the upgrades in our driveway for free, to save us driving to Gresham. Such a deal!!
A significant difference from the Portland Ford dealership, who I couldn't even get to return my call last time around.

I hear ya. Come May 10th, the Old Hen & I have been in marital bliss for 50! Tack 4 years of dating in high school with that, too.

Whe did they remove windows before the new one's were ready.
They strip the existing windows, replace any parts needing replacement, and reassemble them. We keep the original windows and glass, that have been re-manufactured to new specifications.

Good morning, Misfits. Currently 39 degrees, with a high of 60 degrees expected today. Got the space heater going in the living room, and curled up under a blanket on the couch with my baby watching movies
