It is legal for recreational weed in my state of Missouri, we have a dispensary 20 minutes from my house and two shops in town that sell pipes and bongs. My next door neighbor has a nice grow room - two tents and a cloning chamber. Plenty of weed everywhere. I shut down my grow room when my wife got hospitalized with congestive heart failure back around Thanksgiving. My friends on here really did keep the prayers coming for us during that time. We are a family of old hippies and stoners

I grow in a small tent now, just personal. Well, Im going to a place where I can grow outdoors, or I would upgrade, I have weed for me now but when my eldest spends a week here or the portuguese woman, I clearly see the limitations of such a small growspace. I grow in soil now, have been doing DWC/dripper with HPS before, 25 years ago. I bought a smaller tent with a quantum-board type light when I was first starting up growing again like two years back, you know, trying to get away cheap, but ended up getting a kit from a reputable manufacturer. I use the old tent on and off for mommies and cherry tomatoes and chilies and stuff.
I know of a couple of local growers, but so does EVERONE who lives here, and them guys in general have other stuff going on in their lives that I dont want no part of, so most of my conversations, toking humour and learning about growing and all things around that is done online. Been like that for me since man, Yahoo chat rooms in the late nineties. I had a growing mentor on ICQ, a guy from 'BAMA! Love him, still in touch.
I dont even have stoners around me now that I think of it. I have had, of course, but in the climate that is being created around the legality of this plant it is difficult. I mean, I have a lot of weed, but I dont if I have 3 people leaching of me, and if I say no, Im not a friend am I, lol, so yeah. Its like $12 a gram and people need their meds man, it leads to desperation when the streets run dry of course. So I dont want people knowing about my hobby in my town for more reasons than the cops.
And yeah, Ive been smoking for 30 some years and always been pointed out as some sort of criminal or some **** like that you know, its a massive change just not having to lie to people and society in general.
