Good afternoon, Misfits. Well, I dropped my phone and it is fubar. Talked to my carrier, and working on getting a replacement phone. In the meantime, I have this backup phone that I use for emergencies (like now). Nobody calls me except my brother, and he can call me on my baby's phone. I still get internet with this phone, so that's all I really need.
My brother ran out of money for the hotel a couple of weeks ago. So he got a voucher from a church for another week, but that ran out Saturday. My baby and I agreed to let him stay until the end of the month when he gets more money - if he didn't drink. He had not been drinking and I gave him a little bit of money for cigars and soda, but you guessed it - He drank today. My baby fixed a nice dinner and he didn't eat because he is full on damned vodka. He is sleeping it off now. He has taken kindness for weakness, but this is the last time. I am concerned about my baby, because she was the one who suggested we let him stay and now she is all stressed out and I am pissed off. What a bunch of BS - again

Gaugus here again in Pacific NW Paradise, starting at 29F and predicted to soar to 50F.
Holy s.hit, my computer is still scanning for virus. It has scanned over 6,000,000 files on my four drives and estimates another 1.4 hours to finish.
Grayfox's old boss was in town yesterday and took her to Tien Hong for lunch. She brought me back an order of Salt and Pepper Squid and I still have half of it left for snacks today.
Down six pounds since the first of the year.

I agree totally, they'll do ANYTHING to get that next drink. My uncle was a raging alcoholic, 3 DWIs over 3x the legal limit, drinking vodka and cranberry by 6am.
He had to sign his house over to his son when he went to jail or he would've lost it. Thankfully he raised damn good kids that are there for him, but don't support his habits.
He's 4 years sober from alcohol, just smokes a metric f.uck ton of weed now lol.
When he was a big drinker I used his garage and lift to build the motor in my Honda.
What a mistake. That mofo had me out the door to the liquor store by 830 so I could be there at 9am to get his liquor....
Then on top of running every day for booze AND paying him 250 bucks to use the garage, he had me drive his kids dirt bike 5 hours round trip to Binghamton NY and back....
Alcoholics will use and abuse you until you finally just f.ucking say NO

Back in my hayday, I always defined an alcoholic as a person that drank one more beer a day than I did.
We temporarily housed three alcoholic relatives thus far for long enough seriously regret it. Besides drama, all stole from us and two have since died without ever recovering. We still have hope for the third one, but not much.

Good afternoon, Misfits. Feeling sick today - sore throat, body aches and feeling weak. Been drinking water and using throat spray. Need to rest some more, but just got up around 11 am and have some errands to run before we lay down again
Been feeling shi.tty since Friday myself. About over it tho

Went shopping for a few things, especially needed more bacon. So my baby is fixing BLT on toast (minus the lettuce for me). Bacon always makes me feel better, lol. She fixed me a cup of hot chocolate, too. I sure do love my wife!
