You can't fix some ppl brother. Besides,,you have to protect your home and family. You can never trust what these ppl will do when your back is turned.
Sadly true. One tried to commit suicide while staying with us, and two of them stole stuff, aside from all the BS and drama.

My brother has sofa surfed with us several times in the past, and the last time was right when my baby ended up in the hospital with congestive heart failure. The stress was too much for her. Then when I came home to pick up clean clothes and found all of the empty vodka bottles in the trash can - he had to go.

On a good note, he successfully completed alcohol rehab and is staying at the motel again. He is also working on getting back into an assisted living home again. We love my brother, but we can't fix him. He has to do it for himself. We can support and encourage him, which we do, and we are truly hoping that he stays sober this time around.

Sometimes support becomes enabling and it's better to let them find their bottom.

Cloudy here today, starting at 35F and predicted to reach 41F.

I finally managed to sit down with my personal doctor and map out a plan to get off of some of the drugs other doctors have prescribed. Still waiting for the cardiovascular specialist to return my call from last Wednesday for an appointment and the pain specialist that prescribed the DULoxetine that gave me A-fib hasn't returned my call asking to be taken off it. The same doctor that also put me on Meloxicam (NSAID) without checking my kidney function.

My BP was very good on Hyzar but my urologist said that the HTZ promoted kidney stones so I switched to Cozar. That worked for about two months and my BP started elevating, so my doctor added Amlodapine and Hydrazaline, which still doesn't work as well as Hyzar did.

I just reseached HTZ and kidney stones, only to find that it was used to prevent kidney stones until it was found by multiple blind studies that it has no statistically significant effect on kidney stones what so ever.

Too many doctors are spoiling the soup so my personal doctor is weaning me off Hydrazaline and DULoxetine and putting me back on Hyzar.

She also took me off the Metaprocol, since my pulse rate is no longer elevated, nor do I have tachycardia and A-fib and it is driving my pulse rate down to around 45 bpm. If I wait until it is convenient for the cardiac specialist to call with an appointment and discover that, I could be dead, I could also have been killed by the Meloxicam and DULoxetine.

Needless to say, I'm not happy with doctors right now....................

I never trust doctors with meds. I always research the fk out of meds. I even read white papers to find out what the fk kinda problems the **** can cause.
I self medicate. Another words I don't necessarily take the dosage they tell me too. I start on a smaller dosage and go from there. I've got my meds right down to the lowest dose possible to do what I need it to do.
My BP is normally around 125/80 and my heart rate at 70 at rest
