Fedx finally showed up. Hazmat order that had to be signed for and was supposed to be here between 1415 and 1615. Showed up at 2236. Couldn't yell at the dude 'cause it's not his fault that they dumped too much crap on him to deliver. Mine was his third stop on my road. There's only six houses on the road.

Good morning, Misfits. Got a fresh cup of coffee and trying to wake up. The visitor's chair in the room folds down into a little bed, not the most comfortable but it works. And it allows me to sleep right next to my baby. Had a turkey sandwich for breakfast, lol. Happy Thanksgiving!

Back in my early 30's, I rode up to the local tavern at 19 degrees. Thought I was gonna lose my nose, the only thing uncovered. Bought my first beer and the rest came free from folks walking in saying, "Who was that crazy bas tard that rode the bike in?"
Last called the place. Man, when that cold wind hits ya, you sober up really quick.

I've rode in the cold many times. We fined your ass for not riding your bike to the Club House or on runs.
I'll tell you this. If you drink to much, that cold air will sober your ass up real quick.

Good morning and happy Thanksgiving ya'll!

A partly cloudy day starting at 34F and predicted to soar to 46F.

We traditionally have the family over for Thanksgiving dinner but alas this year everyone has other plans so we will be having pork chops with dressing tonight with just us and the girls.

We already celebrated turkey day at Huber's restaurant on the 23rd.

Currently 29, with a high of 39 expected today. Went outside for fresh air, and there is frost all over the car windshields. My friend is coming to pick me up at 10 am, and bringing me back over this afternoon

Got another fresh cup of coffee, and the nurse just came in to check on her. Still having issues with oxygen levels, but it is improving

31 and no sun here. Can't complain after seeing the mythical sun for two whole days in a row.

Porkchops and dressing sound pretty good!

Mr. Back isn't looking forward to sitting at big brother's house for hours. Mr. Diverticulitis decided to visit. Gonna stuff my face with goodies anyhoo. That'll show him!

Just had some breakfast - scrambled eggs, an English muffin and some grapes. I don't have much of an appetite, I guess all of the worrying has me messed up. She is showing improvements, it's just going to take time

We'll have our Thanksgiving in a day or two. For now, we are focusing on her getting stronger and being stable. Still on a Heart Healthy diet, my sweetie says "it's not good", lol

Once upon a time, I was in a rehab facility for alcohol and drugs. There was an Amish man in there for alcohol use, and I would give him cigars to smoke. Then I told him to push his hands in the air and say, "I love it when you call me Big Papa!" Needless to say, rehab staff was not impressed, lol
