A double gorgeous clear day here starting at 40F and predicted to reach 62F.
Well shit! Our Ford EV won't take a full charge after 11 years and 55K miles. I will be taking it into the dealership to find out why. Worst case it is the main battery, which looks to be about $10/12K.
The only other maintenance on the vehicle has been tires and replacing the horn wiring at $700. Because it uses dynamic braking, it still even has the original brake pads. The vehicle is still in mint condition otherwise, and I'm inclined to replace the batteries, if necessary, rather than the vehicle.
