I like this group, "Texas Hippie Coalition" (THC) - they rock! Ran across them the other night when I couldn't sleep and was watching videos.
F'n back pain is screamin' like a demon, so I took my usual triple set of pharma to see if it will calm down. And just ate some more of the blueberry muffins that my baby made. Damn, those things are yummy!

23 degrees this morning with snow and more on the way. The weather nerds are calling for up to a foot by tomorrow. Weeee. After all that is done, the same nerds are calling for sub-zero temps. Oh, joy.

Took my baby to the ER, she is having problems breathing and retaining fluid. She is on Lasix, but it doesn't seem to be doing much. She had labs done on Tuesday, which indicated heart failure again. The doctor said if she had trouble breathing to go to the ER. So here we are. Will update when we know anything new
No, but all of our German Shepherds have shed about that amount, so I can relate to it.

Now she is most beautiful. I wonder what she's thinking. Does Miss Layla make noises when she dreams? My three do they twists all so. Just love my doggy's. I once had 12 dogs at once. My mom couldn't understand it because I got attack buy a dog when I was 10 and would not leave the house for 2 weeks after that happened. Time for their supper.

Sometimes Miss Layla will sound off while dreaming but she isn't nearly as vocal as Heidi Ho was, who made all sorts of vocalization sounds while trying to communicate.
We only keep one German Shepherd at a time and I never had more than two, which were Boxers when I was a kid. Me and Dogs have always been buds!
Said she has an enlarged heart, and they are going to give her IV Lasix and potassium. She has an appointment Monday for an echocardiogram
