Good morning brothers and sisters!View attachment 368584View attachment 368585

A gorgeous clear day here, starting at 38F and predicted to reach 50F.

Well s.hit, the fun goes on! Tuesday at the emergency ward they got higher BP readings that I did at home so I compared my two BP meters and found that the one I was using was reading low and that my resting pulse rate was around 100 bpm where it is usually 54 bpm.

My BP was also high and rising. It reach 179/104 at 122bpm and I headed back to the emergency ward, where my pulse was up to 138 bpm with A-fib.

They slowed me down to about 87 bpm with medication and gave me a blood thinner, as well as a referral to a cardiologist and prescriptions for Metoprolol and Eliquis. Imagine my ?dismay to discover that the pharmacy didn't have either and won't have them for until late today.

No gym this morning and breakfast out. Two window contractors due for bids late morning and midafternoon. My first electrical contractor is not due until Monday.
No mention of PVC's ? How many Mgs of Metoprolol? ( Beta blocker used to slow heart rate)
The Eliquis is so no clots form from the A Fib if they are sure it was AFib.
Make that apt today.

A Buddy of mine found out he was having A Fib also
They were able to install a new devise called the watchman into the heart chamber (through his groin up into heart chamber)
Inquire about it, he is please that he does not need to take the blood thinner worried about a bleed out in his brain.

That's what they did for my brother after his second "widow maker". If he goes into AF, it shocks the heart automatically. He says it'll get your attention, but it beats going in a box.

Knock ten degrees off of your current temps and you'll have my current temp. Six frosty degrees here. Burr. If you're crazy enough to take a leek outside, ya'd better take an ax with ya or you'll be there 'til spring.

You should see the poll at the very top of the page right under the sponsors advertising, GW.

I take Carvedilol 3.125 mg. Which is also a Beta Blocker.
I couldn't take Metoprolol. It lowered my BP and Heart rate way to Fking much.
Have you had your TSH levels checked? (Thyroid)
I stopped my AFib with Levothyroxine. It was a life saver for me.
