Any of you guys tried combining white and blurple light? Nothing strange should happen, I guess, but I'd like to know if someone has any experience with it.
I have done so, without any problems. I had the blurple as my main lights, and used the white lights for the lower section of the plants. You'll be fine

We filed our taxes today. We get $5K back from the feds and had to pay the state, city, and our accountant about another $1.5K, so still have some left over.
No state taxes in Texas. My accountant got my taxes a couple weeks ago. He is great. I've been using him for over 25 yrs. He worked for the IRS for almost 15yrs. He hates them and knows all the ends and outs. He is also a Tax Attorney.😁

Just checked my crypto account and it is holding steady at around $148. Waiting for it to get a bit higher before I cash out
Gonna take a little time. Once everything settles down stocks will start kicking ass.
Mine are holding steady. They drop a little and then go back up. Gonna be a roller coaster for a few weeks but I see a really nice pay day coming in the future.🥰
I'm diversified. I have 5 Crypto and 6 Stocks and ETFs. I have about $8000.00 invested and I'm at $9273. So I'm up a little over &1200.00
Started messing with stocks a little over a year ago. Now I study the shit all the time. Kinda like a hobby.
I love Robinhood. It's a very simple system.
I guarantee you it's better than a Fking savings account.😁

No sales tax here, but a healthy income and property taxes, plus we pay a Portland business tax for our rentals. Our tax attorney of many years died, so we are now just using H&R Block

A double gaugus clear day here, starting at 36F and predicted to reach 57F.

A fun morning walk in the park with Miss Layla, where she scored 10 tennis balls. Would have been 11, but one was in a mud puddle and neither of us wanted it in our pocket or mouth. The previous best so far this year was 4 but the season approaches.

No gym this morning and breakfast out at Tin Shed with Grayfox and NM.

A friend just got word that their ~50 year old son was found dead, with no cause yet but it appears alcohol related.

Because of the Homestead act and my age. My taxes on my house are less than a thousand dollars. One of my neighbors pays over 3000.00 for the same size house and is not near as nice because of all the work I've done to mine over the years.

We are paying about $8K each for our house and two duplexes plus another $500 for a business license. We would be paying much more except for Measure 5 and 49, which grandfathers us and limits percent taxed and how much they can re-evaluate property each year.

Some of the homes in our hood purchased since Measure 5 and 49, are paying $30/40K per year in property taxes on $2 to 3 million dollar residencies. Almost like buying a home and then paying rent to live there.

Just said goodbye to a friend from KY who is here to visit. We spoke about something briefly when he came that I haven't thought about before. Here in this country, we always take our shoes of when we enter peoples houses, to not do so is seen as unpolite. If you don't it signals sort of "You have such a dirty home I better keep my boots on in case there's snakes and bugs and shit" while in the US it seems to be the complete other way around, you keep your shoes on to signal that "Your home is so clean that I don't have to worry that I'll ruin my shoes".

I spend a year in the US, but I didn't visit many peoples homes, or, a few but I had been drinking and doing other drugs and I got naked as soon as I got inside the door, lol. Ah, youth..

Am I understanding this shoe-thing wrong? Either way is fine by me, I have a vacuum cleaner and I understand people have different cultures. Like a family from Afghanistan I have befriended. They bring like slippers or moccasin type footwear when they come to visit and put on when they come inside the door. I don't know if it's a cultural behavior or just them. I mean, it's a middle ground to some extent, maybe they want to wear shoes but are trying to fit in with our culture. Looks warm and soft. Maybe I should start doing that.

Also, you wont find carpeted floors in Sweden. I haven't seen one it at least 30 years. We put rugs on wooden floorboards or linoleum floor mats.

Just something I thought I'd try to ask some Americans about and see what they had to say about it. I like differences and I think it's interesting.
