I picked up extra work from a lot of the folks on my route. Paint the house numbers on the curb, edge driveways, rake leaves, landscaping; anything a young boy could do that older folks didn't want to or have time to. Never turned down anyone. The extra money didn't hurt, either.

Good evening, Misfits. My baby has a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning for pain management. Yep, 85 miles each way, plus the wait time in the office.

Chiefs won their game, 30-27. Puts us at 10-1 for the season. Now laying on the bed, smoking a bowl and relaxing.

Good morning, insomniac Misfits. Got too much sleep yesterday. Now I am wide awake, sitting in my favorite chair and smoking a bowl. Still gotta get showered, dressed and ready for the driver to pick us up this morning. But for now, I am going to enjoy a bowl or two

More rain, starting at 42F and predicted to reach 51F.

Off to the gym, morning dog walk, and then we will be dropping the Ford EV off at the dealership in Gresham to find out why it will no longer take a full charge.

Courtesy Ford in Portland never answered the messages that I left trying to get a service appointment, so I stopped calling them and reported them to the Ford Corporate customer relations department.
