Good morning Misfits. Currently 36, with a high of 70 today in the KC area. Have a doctor's appointment at 3 today, gotta travel 85 miles there and back, plus the wait in the office lobby, making it an all day affair. Need to find out what we are going to do since my insurance wouldn't cover the spinal cord stimulator implant surgery. Possibly some radio frequency ablation in the L5-S1, we'll see.

I come across some really cool vintage collectibles from time to time. I recently acquired a set of 1960's Art Deco drinking mugs, with an octagonal design. Perfect for root beer floats

So ya'll there have been some life changing tragic things going on here. It has consumed all my time and energy. Things are going in the right direction but I'm going to be absent for a spell.I'm looking forward to getting back on track. I avoid social media so being able to connect with people who have similar interests has brought me out a bit from where I've been. I'll be back......

Good evening Misfits. Just got home from the doctor's appointment about an hour ago. We sat in the waiting room for two and a half hours before I got called back to see the doctor. Now sitting on the couch smoking a bowl - sweet relief, after not smoking all day!

Cloudy with a sprinkle or two, starting at 43F and predicted to reach 56F as our skies clear. 63 in the house this morning so I turned on the furnace again.

I was floored yesterday after I packed up my inversion table into two packages and dropped it off at UPS for shipment. They wanted $440 to ship the base and another $404 to ship the teeter table. Anyone know of any cheeeep shipping companies? The unit only cost around $350 new.

Gym first thing this morning and we got our ballots yesterday, so it's vote by mail time.

You won't find it much cheaper if any at all.
Hate to break it to ya but that's just what it costs now. It's absolutely disgusting, but ups drivers can make on average 80-100k a year. You do the math, that's why it's 800 dollars to ship a 300 dollar item.

Yep that's what I do as well. Costs to much to ship anything over a 9x11 bubble mailer lol

I learned my lesson the one time I sold a new 4x4 skylight brand new in box
It cost 2000 dollars and I sold it for 450 dollars,
They ask if I would deliver it for that price.
I said no, you need to pick it up, Later that day I had the family in charge of a local Russian crime in my home
Checking all my **** out , I corralled them all up and said you are here for the skylight correct and the old man agreed and had the boys wait outside until the deal was done.
The old man (in charge) was very respectable to me and commented on how I should up to his crew. LOL (I was shitting Bricks with only a 5 shot in the sack) . Deal done was for his daughters house being built (real nice skylight worth way more than the 2 grand I paid But I too got such a deal ). The old man gave me his card as he smiled and said "you ever need a Good Job you call me , I need a good man who knows how to handle people. and laughed as he shook my hands again to thank me.
I even got an invite to the Daughters wedding.
