Good morning insomniac Misfits! F'n back and hip pain is keeping me awake. So I am sitting in my favorite chair smoking a bowl and hoping it will help me get comfortable enough to get some sleep

Cloudy with sprinkles here starting at 51F and predicted to reach 67F.

Gym this morning and then off to Fernhill dog park while the housekeepers hose out the place.

Commiseration brother! I had to take two Tylenol, one Meloxicam anti-inflammatory, and use a heating pad to sleep last night. My hips and shoulders have joined my back in giving me grief when I lie on my side.

That sucks. I can no longer lay on either side as It hurts but as long as I am propped up I can still sleep ok. Gummies will be stronger next try. I need them for sleep so does my sissy. Now she is eating 2 cookies and 3 gummies. F’in stoner 1 cookie and 2 gummies help me.

Well the last 24 hours have been kinda crazy.

Yesterday my wife had an MRI/MRA to determine exactly what happened to her and what led to her hospital stay.
Apparently on Saturday morning my wife had a minor stroke.. It was a real gut punch to be handed that news. It was in the part of her brain that affects balance. I should have taken her to the ER that morning, we waited almost 24 hours! OMG we had no Idea what was happening. She will now need to start seeing a Cardiac specialist as well as a Neurologist.

She was discharged last night and is now at home recovering.
In comes a whole new life for us in an instant. My wife is going to have to be very careful now with everything she does.
Also new diet, We have to limit all fats, sugar , salt and processed foods. Mediterranean diet or a low fat Cardiac diet.
She was told she needed to quit smoking weed, although first thing she did last night was take a couple of puffs(I think she may have needed it).

For my part ..Today I put on a nic patch and I am determined to quit smoking cigs. Been smoking for decades, surprised I am not already dead. Plus I have High BP.
I am also going to start cutting way back on my alcohol consumption, I drink too much as it is.

I guess this incident really hammered home, that we are not young anymore.

As funny as this may sound: Time to start acting our age. F.UCK! lol

On a not so funny note, I have a feeling something else is coming...MEDICAL DEBT. We're still paying on her stay from Feb. of this year..God damn, I can't keep up with this.

Make her some gummies or edibles. Still get the effects but not smoking. It was easy enough to make. Jello, unflavored jello, sunflower lecithin, fruit juice and the infused oil. I can give a recipe. I followed the recipe so mine are not that strong. I usually follow the recipe the first time them make adjustments from there . Like I did with the salve. Took like 5-6 batches to get it where I wanted it. If you dont have a mold you can use Ice cube trays or a sheet oan then cut them smaller. I think the molds I bought were like 10 bucks on amazon

Thanks at all. Been a rough year for Witchking clan this year...between Medical shit and unexpected financial disasters. However I guess I'm lucky I didn't loose everything like the people who were decimated by the hurricane(s). I still count my blessings everyday.
