Todays high 58 - tonights low 49 - currently 39 in the jungles of IL. Holy cow. I tried to drink all the Jim Beam they had in that place last night. Was a nice escape for a few. Mrs. Monkey said I was a nice guy and went straight to sleep. Like dead sleep.
Good morning brothers and sisters! My morning started out right with Miss Layla dutifully waking me up with nuzzles, roots, and whimpers, followed by our cat Melissa crawling up in my lap for a morning love in.
I finally got a solid date to schedule all five furnaces to be serviced on the same day. With five different schedules it's a little like herding cats.
Breakfast out this morning at Cadilliac Cafe with Grayfox and NM.

They started my fence today, adding 4.5 acre to our 4 acre spread. Adding more sheep, and a cow. After that we’d can focus on the hog pen, then hopefully the slaughterhouse will be finished before next winter. Self sufficient 
Rendered three pounds of pork fat today. Ended up with half a quart of cracklings and 3/4 quart of lard.
