It's snowing right now.

We had whiteouts roll through all day yesterday on and off.

Good morning, shipmates. Woke up to -1, but it's quickly warmed up to +4. Not sure what it's supposed to get to, but you still won't want to put your tongue on the pump handle.
Not much snow overnight, but enough wind to make a touch up necessary to take care of the drifts. No biggie.

Looks like my Southern friends are going to get a little taste.

Yep more than 60 days of 100+ degrees but it is still cooler here than IL in aug when it is so hot you walk outside and are dipping in sweat instantly.

Our biggest drawback is wind storms and drought.

I guess it's the lack of humidity. I remember as a kid going down to Kennet, MO and sitting on the courthouse steps in the shade of a tree. The thermometer said 104. Wasn't any hotter than a 85 degree here.

I've worked outside when it hit 100 here. You drink lots of water.

The humidity makes it feel worse in summer. Our humidity is around 5-8% most of the time. It does get more during monsoon season it still only like 40-60% humidity.
