The barrel is 14". OAL is 26.37" It's not a "shotgun" because it has no shoulderable stock. It's not an AOW, which IS an NFA item. It's a "firearm", per the BATFE.Have you seen the shockwave he is talking about? 12 gauge pump, no stock but a large knob like handle with under 18 inch barrel. Seems to violate all kinds of regulations, but they saw it as unique, and classified it as "any Other weapon" or something like that, Shazam it legal with no tax stamp needed.
Less than 26 inches overall, barrel under 18 inches, etc.
Is that a grovebag or copyThat darn cat is smoking my weed again!
Always thinkingIn my state, it's a handgun. Anything under 30" is a handgun. I've got folding stock AKs that are registered as handguns. I bought a KelTec sub 2000 from a dealer as a rifle. I took it to the county and told them I wanted to register it as a handgun and why. She pulled out her tape measure and it was 29 and 7/8ths long. She told me I could add a thin buttplate to bring it out to 30". I told her that I could legally hunt deer in my area with it if it was a handgun. Grin.

"He keeps a journal of his adventures and fights injustice where he finds it with a revolver and his dead father's sawed-off, double-barreled shotgun."
I was only referring to the "Mare's Leg" firearm. Johnny Yuma didn't use one of those.
