Another gorgeous clear day starting at 55F and predicted to reach 91F.

We had lunch with an old friend in her late 80’s yesterday. She is widowed now and using a walker, but her good attitude and mind seems to be holding. She lost her husband earlier this year and her kids seem to be bellying up to the bar taking care of her. A tribute to how she took care of them.................

Breakfast out this morning at Tin Shed with an old friend who has prostate cancer and following surgery, is trying to keep it under control with diet and extreme exercise. Besides his home gym, he rides thirty to fifty miles most days on his recumbent bike. I gave him one of our fully grown Basil plants earlier this week, and look forward to hearing what he created out of it.

Hee, hee, hee, I just savored some vanilla ice cream with blackberry syrup I made from wild blackberries that I picked earlier this month.

Time to make another trip to the Humane Society to drop off a garbage bag full of tennis balls for the pups. We collect several hundred a year from the tennis courts across the street and drop them off three or four times a year for the pups.
We have been eating the black berry syrup She made.
I just want to grow what I eat and smoke .
I am officially zucchinied out and waiting for my leeks and round 2 of the "Autoflower Open "

I understand . I made a megapot of a veg soup with all our vegies and my Honey canned 7 jars.
I ***** saying if we are not using all we grow then grow just what we use.
I have autos in one vegi pod and half another.
If things go as I hope I will have grown 27 autos outside with the vegi-pods a kind of SIP and they lose their minds in it.
Life is good . People in my life smoke what I grow because I grow it and to save theirs. It is the least I can do is share to the folks who are so good to me. And I regularly knock the starch out of them !

My Friends put a wheel barrow of zuchinni by their strret for people and after 4 weeks ,they took t the wheelbarrow and left the zuchinni!
The cops came to my house because my zuchinni was knocking on the neighbors door at 2am !

G'morning Misfits! 72 sweltering degrees this morning (eat yer heart out, Hopper) and overcast. Looks like more rain, too. Good day for doing nothing. My lazy arse likes these kinds of days.

Try this
Slice the zucs into coins
Olive oil in pan sauté with S&P garlic , til lightly browned
Now add chopped tomato, once it starts to break down
put mozzarella cheese to cover the mix, take off heat.
Than place a pan cover and let set until cheese has melted .
Yummy stuff, I eat it 4 times a week
