All of us helping each other, pulling an engine and swapping in a newer wreck recovery one took less than a day sometimes even hrs.
Man I miss those days of dirty, greasy, and grimy, bathtub ring days.

Sadly, after thinking back to who I had fun doing it with growing up, I realized I've outlived all of them that I've been able to keep track of and I no longer derive as much joy from it.
Probably most fun was dreaming and scheming about what we could make out of the pieces of s.hit we had to work with.

and I bought them...You fixed em I sold em.
I would take a stringray bike and remove rear wheel then using another spare same size rim I took all the spokes out along with spindle (just rim left). I would then take short bolts and drill and bolt the spare to the good rim (after removing tire and tube) so that the extra rim created a drive track in which the drive belt could ride without falling off. tire and tube back on and remount.
