Because it was in the 20's with wind gusts to 30 mph, she was all bundled up so that she could barely move and wading through about an 18" snow drift when she lost her balance and fell.

The snow and her bundling totally softened her face plant, but she twisted her worn out knee on the way down and couldn't get up without help.

We started dating when she was still in her twenties, and we've both grown older, but it is easy to forget that she is now 74 years old. Fortunately, feeling better later after rest and ice...................
