When i take the bridgeport ferry and look how the boat is wired it is interesting .

Joe There is a self bleeder in the left hand side behind the water valve controllers But once again it is so Old I bet it has to be bleed manually

Im sure they had something because they got water intothe system
I notice theyused original bleeders valves.
Me personally ,whether it is a brand new service or a brand new boiler I like changing all the stuff .
We start new ,no old breakers .valves .circulators .expansion tanks and date everything

We haven’t given them a dime yet. I thought it was weird that they didn’t ask for half up front. The owners wife just passed away. I’m sure they usually do paperwork first

I’m trying not to treat it as if it were SUBSAFE equipment GW. I know outside gets away with less quality work than on a submarine but don’t folks take any pride in their work? I am also very neat in my work even at home. I’m not a pipe fitter by trade but Ive done a lot of pipe work and would be embarrassed to turn this over to a customer.

All I had was the way I did things.
Everything cant be perfect ,but can be should be .
Funny Subbie I have said my boilers belong on a submarine !
But usually I am not competing in price ,because I make everything new.
I valve the schit out of things !
people will pay someone a fair price for a fair job.

I know they had a means to bleed the system cause they did it while they were here. I do hate the piping job tho. Every pipe is crooked. I mean every one. I will be lucky if the water lines hold they the weekend.
