its 600watts and its exactly what I want to spend on my setup. It says the light included will produce 90,000 lumens which is perfect for my setup to penitrate the top to the middle of the plants and I am going to use some supplimental cfl's to penitrate the lower leaves.

So does it look like a sound investment? I've seen some harvests on here with cfl's and floros and i'm just not impressed with the results so I have to get one of these lights to get more bud off my plants :p.

Or try Insidesun [dot] com they have an ebay site, but you can get some great deals by going direct through them. Had my HPS250 within a week for under $125 w/ an extra bulb :)

That isn't expensive at all considering you're getting a reflector, bulb, socket, ballast, and a timer.

That reflector is nothing fancy, but it definitely will work just fine. The only thing you have to focus on is good ventilation. With the more expensive reflectors they have a glass lense to enclose them. From there you can ventilate very effectively through the hood. It's great for controlling temps. But you might even be able to put in a glass lense if you want to. You could always custom mod it to have ventilation ducting.

That's going to work just fine though. And you can't argue that price. Personally...I'm going to save up longer and buy a really nice 600w setup.

I agree with Pew Pew.That price aint bad...shades and timers alone cost an arm and a leg.
