Is it growing right?

[St8 Popcorn Head....]

I'm a long time toker, and i recently planted a few seeds(popcorn) in the yard about a month ago. All i did was dig a hole near other plants in the yard and, been watering the seeds. Now the plants or about 5 or 6 inches high and they have the 3 rippled leaves (like the adidas symbol). Now i'm just wondering should I be doing anything else? or am i just wasting my time with this plant?

yea welcome to mp and your never wasting your time man if you are learning a new skill just read up on here as much as you can and give them as much loving tender care as you can and im sure they will do the same for you when the time comes
