Indoor easy grow

Just got some happy frog in the brown bag and mixed in some pumice stone. 3½-ish gallon pots. Got a crop king seeds (White Cookies/fem) and a bag seed from a batch of Zelato I got in Colorado. 1000w vivosun light and a 4x4x8 tent. Gonna make sure I PH my water and will probably do some light feedings throughout. Here we go again! Holy **** this tent is big haha

Aye bro this just me I use ocean forest fox farm through out my entire inside grow I never tried happy frog do you need to transplant into different soil when you use happy frog r my question could be why use happy frog when ocean forest does it all from seedlings to flower

I have used both and with a side by side grow Happy frog performed better. Just my opinion. Happy frog was my go to soil. It got so expensive I switched to Peat, and add pearlite. I use Jacks to feed do no worries there.

I used ocean forest a couple of times now and am just doing something different. I did get a bag of it too haha I think I'm gonna have to try the jacks out this time also @MariJan @greenphene

I have used both and with a side by side grow Happy frog performed better. Just my opinion. Happy frog was my go to soil. It got so expensive I switched to Peat, and add pearlite. I use Jacks to feed do no worries there.

The White Cookies has taken root! The Zelato popped but it just diddled itself out. Should I top it and just do a sea of green? It's my 1st time with such a big tent and not really sure which would be the best. What's you guys' preference?

Congrats, ya got life. I run 4 plants in a 4x4. 2x2 space for ea plant. I'm glad to see your not throwing 20 plants in there..lol. Less is more.

Ya know I'm gonna suggest floater screens over topping but hey, that's just me..lol.

I'll definitely be getting some nets set up. I guess I'm gonna break out the tape measure, do some guessing, and figure out a plan. Probably gonna try and see how fat I can get this gal without screwing with too much.

The peat/pearlite Flower told me about works great with Jacks. It also holds moisture better.

I spoke with a fella at the grow store, tried to sell me a 700 watt led for $400. Not today! But I'll be back haha settled for another 100watt ac infinity got a couple of goodies coming from freind. Cool shiz coming

Grow shops are always expensive when you need equipment. Great for a grower without a budget but not for most.
So ya think your going to be in the 30-35watt psft range with the new lamp added? With good lighting you will see a difference.

I just picked up a 600w for $160. The thing is a beast of a lamp. I have the same Szhlux brand 400w and it kicked *** too so I bought a bigger one for my 4x8.

I'm excited to see your upgrade.

What sizes do you have. I love mine so far. That 400w rocked a 4x4 space. This 600w is a beast. At 24"x47" it covers a large area. Add my other 500w in there and I'm right where I need to be light wise in the 4x8.

Got AC infinity in the big tent (2 1000 lights, fan, controller) and the vivosun 1000 in the little veg tent. Been wanting a setup like this for a while and here we go. Even got a ph kit and a purifier for the water and will be doing feedings. I didn't realize the happy frog I bought was basically starter dirt but I kinda wanted to try the feeding anyway. The 2 big plants are monkey Fritz or something, came from a friend who gave me the little tent, fan, and controller. It feels like Christmas over cheer haha
