How old can it be and still okay?

Hi there.
I am brand new to this forum. My first question.
I am a very, very ocassional pot smoker. In fact I have a small stash it has been unthouch for at least one year. And when I got it, probably was 2 years ago.
Can I still smoke this? Or is too old and there is a chance it is not safe or healthy? It looks just very dry, no fungus dust or anything like it.

Thanks for the info

Smoke it and see. :) I am sure it's fine. It will either get you off or it won't.

I'd try to add some moisture to it so its not so dried out not much though just a lil. make it burn a lil slower...otherwise nuthin bad about old weed except the harsh, fast burn.

yea, stale weed doesnt really do anything bad to you, but it kinda tastes like...a$$?
i smoked a three month old joint that i found in a drawer and it tasted horrible but it messed me up pretty good. more than usual. if your going to keep bud for a while it helps to put an orange peel in there to keep it moist and add just a little citrusy flavor. yum :)

Yeah,
Mutt is right about the tad of moisture, and your smart that you hesitate and look it over, I would be pleased to test it for you, LOL.
The SweetMad is gonna get all the points here though cause the citrus is a brilliant thought.
smoke in peace

.... for all your replies.
I was thinking somebody was going to say "if in doubts why don't you just through it away and get some fresh...."
But the true is I dont have easy access to it, I don't know where to get it. I am in BC, I know is everywhere, but as I am a very occasional consumer, I just never worried about where to get it. Whatever I have left will last me for a while yet......
