My kid wrinkles his nose, sneezes and then barks at me.
But that's pretty much it.
LOL--Mine, too.
My kids are grown and my grandkids are actually grown up too--21 and 18. However, we handled it kind of like Ston-loc, but this was way before "fight club". It was one of those things we did not talk about outside the family, like Uncle Pete's drinking, Aunt Cora's bankruptcy, or Great-grams dementia (we did not know about Alzheimer's in those days). I believe that we simply lived our lives more privately then, than we do now. I never understand when I buy things online, a little thing pops up asking if I want to "share" that information---why in the @#$% would anyone care if I bought a spice rack? For goodness sakes, not everyone needs to know every little thing about someone's day....I do not want you to text me a picture of your lunch....(end of rant).
On a lighter note, in the early 80s, I worked at a stock brokerage firm and one of the brokers was quite open with his young daughter. He did get worried though one day when she came home from school with something they had made from pipe cleaners. She proudly held it up and declared "Daddy, look what we made in school today with bong cleaners." He worried for days about getting a call from the school, but it never came. That always cracks me up.
