hi, im new to growing and after i germenated my seeds a put them in pots full of horse poo and potting soil. is that ok or should i just start over with some new seeds?

fresh HS has to much amonina and nitrogen will burn up plants.
You need to read site rules, about langauge in post.
I am just giving you a heads up before Mods start on you.

Horse manure has to be well-rotted and even then you have to take care not to use too much of it unless you're into growing mushrooms.

Horse poo is one of my main ingredients in my homeade soil mix. yes it must be very well composted before you use it. but as far as tiny bit...1/3 of my mix is horse poo and I don't have any probs. ;)

BTW I see you editted you title thanks  i fixed the title that shows up on the thread list too for ya.

:yeahthat: I type in this formula in your other thread

3 shovels full potting soil
3 shovels full sand
1 shovel full compost (OLD horse poo)
1 shovel full perlite
1 handfull lime

:watchplant: :farm: this is a simple eazy soil mix to grow in. Asyou get more grows under your belt, you can adjust the mix to your strains of marijuana.

Heres some GREEN MOJO to help you on your way to growing lovely ladies.

would you guys recommend growing in pots or directly in the ground?

Pots are portable. So, if you might want to move them around for one reason or another, you'll be able to. However, if the soil is good, and you have no need to move your plants around, it seems as though planting directly in the ground would be the best way.

Another thing to consider, If you plant directly into the ground, you may get people wandering by and they might not actually see your plants at all..... However IF you use pots or planters in the woods or wherever you are growing, and someone wanders by..... They WILL see it and WILL know what is going on, and then Johnny Law will be on to ya.
