Just found this forum. Many, many thanks to all who publish here! This sure ain't like growing 'maters out back! I've got lots to learn and now I've found a place to learn it!

Planted a couple last year, but due to poor soil selection, neglect when away on vacation and probably a few dozen other factors, maturity was never reached. Although I didn't get as much, or of the quality I wanted, it wasn't a total loss. My errors have carried me into this year quite nicely.

Trying again this year, everyone (wife calls them my children) seems happy and healthy so far. Hopefully all will go as planned until they reach voting or drinking age this time around. I now have a place to go for advice and help should I need it.
