hi everybody, first time posting and new member as of today. Just thought i'd say hi and see if a more experienced grower could help me diagnose some problems i've been having lately. ive recenty switched the light cycle to 12/12 and from a 400w mh to a 1000w hps. since that time my beautiful girls have started to drop and leaves really sag. 1000w bulb to close? ease into light cycle? if anyone has any ideas for me in why this happened i'd love to hear from ya. anything helps.

i am not real sure but switching from 400 wattMH TO 1000 WATT hps, that is quite a swing in lumenious, they might be ajusting to the light.. how far from the top of your plants do you have your 1000 watt HPS????

it could be due to temps that have risen ,,not enough water /to much water
have you got any pics you could put up of her ?

hey everybody, thanks for the ideas and advice.

right now they are about 18'' away from the bottom of the bulb of the hps. i did move them back farther now. i may have been too intense at first or the adjustment may have be too much for them at first, but there looking alot better now. i will take some pics and get them on soon. thanks again everyone.

they are all about 16 to 18'' away from the base of the light. They are all fairly big plants. do u think that is too close on a 1000w hps on 12/12 cycle. also keep in mind these plants have been growing for 3 months already.
