i have just purchased 10 seeds of this monster and im interestd in some growing aspects.
if i want to grow 4 plants at a time:
1)how much space do i need
2)what kind of dual spectrum light should i use? at the store the dude tried convinsing me to buy 600W but then he said that 400w will be good also (trustworthy he is not...).

any general tips would be much apprecieated.

Hey Red,
If you plan to grow full-size plants, they will need about 1 square meter (or 1 square yard) of space per plant. For Sea of Green, they can get by on 1 square foot of space.
Lighting is a trickier question and you will find there are many options available. Generally, the higher the wattage, the greater area of light coverage. For example, a 250 HPS/MH light will cover an area of 2'x2', a 400 watt light covers about 2 1/2x 2 1/2 square feet. A 600 watt light covers about a 3'x3' area well. A 1000 watt light will cover a 4'x4' area well.

To determine whats best for the plants, you need to tell more about where your planning on growing them,

how are you planning on dealing with the heat

600w will always provide better results than a 400w in a big room, but the growers personal circumstances must be taken into account before any lighting could be recommended.

See we could all say that the 600 is the nuts and to run with that, but then you get home and set it up in your 3x3x3 closet and then fry your plants. In which case the 400w wouldn't be any good to you either.

So without any info on anything its going to be hard to say what lamp top get.

what is the meaning of "sea of green"? my budget is not that important due to the fact that stuff is cheaper over here (600W bulb + ballast+reflector=1019ILS=260$)

Hey there redrider,
The WM is correct in what he is saying. I sure am curious too. A 600W HPS is going to put out a lot of heat where a 400W would obviously put out less.
Sometimes it's hard to know exactly what to do, as we are all governed by what we can afford or how much room we have, even venting will come into play cause most plants have this thing about advertising by odor. I just finished reading up on this strain, cause you caught my interest and the one thing that I kept running into was that they say that this one stinks alot, and I mean big time odor. So yeah fun time, good oportunity to see how well that scrubber is going to work. LOL
I would say that if denari isn't an issue, and you are willing to spend it then the only thing that should cause you to hesitate on the 600 is can you vent away the heat ? and yes a 400 will work for all four, BUT you know the OL' saying "more is better". Heck a 1000 would trip my trigger, but I can't justify spending that much. My growbox is really too small. Lots for you to think on.
Those beans sound killer to me, can't wait to watch your grow.
