Yup. I have had really small ones inside a tent. You have stand there and fiddle with it until it only comes on at lowest you choose, off when safe temp. Don't have it blowing directly on a plant.Warm the room outside the tent to 55degs if you can.
This way when lights do come on you won't get a real high temp in tent, and when lights out it should not cool below 55degs F with thermostatic control heater.
Otherwise the room the tent is in. I shut all the tent vents but one 6inch round. Flexible duct stuff out the hole and few feet across floor. Small square ceramic heater blowing towards ducts opening, from 3 feet away
I had it get cold enough the plants were stunted and some did not recover.
