heat control mylar?

Yes a friend of mine was telling me recently about some kind of mylar that if you seal up a room with it, it has rubber on one side that blocks the heat so that the room doesnt show up really hot on a radar. Now im not sure if this is true or if anyone has heard of it, but if so let me know the spec's on it and if it really works.

also there is a brand called CHOPPER STOPPER... i don't have a link but you can look it up....i hear it's mighty expensive though
