I have a broke down car in the back of my place that gets alot of sun and i was wondering i the car will act as a greenhouse and keep my plants warm. There like 6 inches or so and its gonna get to 5 celsieus tonight, A lil chilly.

it depends on whether or not is has a sun roof or its a hatchback or something where you could put your plants in there in a spot that gets sunlight for a substantial portion of the day. Keeping them in there at night would be a good idea just for the warmth but they may need more sunlight during the day.

You can put the plants in the car at night and that would help to keep them warm. Just take the plants outside during the day and they should be fine. Just my thoughts. Keep us posted. Take care and be safe.

yeah if you want to put them in their during the day you have to make sure that they are getting a southern exposure to the sun. I am not sure if this is possible, but i do like the idea of shielding them at night from the elements

sounds like it could be worth the challenge go for it :48:

I once used a 'window van' with the top cut out and plexiglassed, as a greenhouse for an entire winter. I was required to supplement heat through dec, jan, ect., tho.
