Just thought I would start this thread for fun. I am not sure if there are manu auto growers here. I have some reg auto seeds and I think this summer i am going to plant a few outdoors as a seed making project. I have a few firebudz strains as well as some mandalorian genetics strains. I will probably try starting my seeds indoors and then moving them outside late may or early june. Who else grows autos outdoors and how does that work out for you?

If I had an outdoor area I'd run autos. Doing them indoors isn't really a big return like photos but it makes a nice compact plant.
I have an area outdoors but I haven't done them before. Late June is the longest daylight we get all year. Most autos ive grown finish in about 10 weeks. So I'm planning to start them indoors early may, so if I put them out the first week of June and they take 10-12 weeks to finish, they will be the longest days of the year. And hopefully they finish up mid to late July. I might just do fems outdoors this year and try making seeds with reg autos next fall indoors.

Starting them indoors is nice but I'd get them in the sun as soon as possible. That metal halide in the sky is far superior to anything we have.

Ya could run two crops of autos outdoors this summer. Early n late harvest.

I'd have some bug battle plans in place too. Powdery mold is also a killer. Few more things to expect outdoors.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of outdoor growing. But I'll try some autos. I like starting them indoors. My led isn't the sun... but I can get them a good start without threat of pests. And i can run my led lights 20 hours a day... the sun isn't out quite that long. Every little bit counts with autos.

I have grown some autos outdoors with no issues. I have a neighbor who only grows autos outdoors, since the photos tend to get white butterfly eggs all over them in the fall around here. I don't think he would be amused, though, if he saw male autos in my yard spreading pollen all over : ) I would have to move the males indoors and collect the pollen manually to avoid screwing up his grows.

I gave up growing photos outdoors here. As soon as September rolls around it cools off and we start getting rain. I want my plants to finish before September
