More to come...I have successfully( I Think) reached day 34 above ground. Where are all of the critical opinion givers?? I want the best straightforward advice.

000OG Kush frm Seedsman. It’s funny though because they are the same age and from the same batch but the one is substantially smaller...why is that??

Using a 150 Watt LED...I plan to increase the light wattage but don’t wanna overdo or not give enough....should I stay with the LEDs or go with something different??

Currently have a 4Ftx3ftx3ft tent that I also intend to increase the size of within the next couple weeks or so just got equipment to get started.

34 days in....drop the hammer on them. 400 or 600 MH light. Personally I use Metal Halide in veg and High Pressure Sodium in Flower. But, If you have a heat problem LED's don't get near as hot. I have never used LED's so I can't comment.

Thanks and Yes, unfortunately I do have a heat issue do to Size of grow space/area....did research to find a more efficient light source without all of the heat so that I can better control temp and humidity an LEDs are what came up. Now I just need to know how much necessary LED wattage that I need

Pick out what size tent your going to upgrade to first, then match your lighting to properly power that tent. Nothing worse then buying new equipment only to realize your still under powering your grow space.

have you have building skills? i like a box over a tent. how big a area do you have to put your setup? i grow in 2' x 2' areas and it can get crowded, but i'll have 2 to 4 plants in each box.

For what it's worth I have 4 topped plants in my 2' X2' X6' tall homemade cabinet with a 400 watt HPS.

Do you have an oscillating fan in your tent? It helps make the stems stronger. And the heat a little bit as well...

You could get by with what you have now if your only going to flower 2 plants at a time, you’d just have to train them a lot so they don’t grow super tall since your limited on height.

If you are going to upgrade for just 2 flowering plants, I think a 2x4 would work great. Find one that’s 6ft tall so you have some room to work with.

An LED light for that tent would highly depend on your budget. Like giggly said, Quantum Boards are hot right now and so are Bar Lights. Bar Lights are the most expensive but offer excellent coverage and efficiency. Quantum Boards are like the new ”Blurple” with the sheer amount of options that have come out this year. Luckily they perform far better than the old “Blurple” LEDs.

Whichever way you go, look for something that uses white light LEDs like the Samsung LM301B/H chips and is powered by a Mean Well driver. Those are the best components out and will give you the best bang for your buck.

Horticulture Lighting Group pioneered the Quantum Board and make top of the line stuff. It’s expensive but you get the best. An HLG300 RSpec would kill a 2x4. If thats out of the budget then look into Spider Farmer or Mars Hydro for an easy Amazon buy. SF-2000 from Spider Farmer or an SP250 or SP300 from Mars Hydro could do very well.

For an even cheaper route, you can go strait to China through Alibaba.com and buy from there.

Also, pics with the lights off and flash may help to see if they are looking like anything is bugging them, hard to tell with the purple light.
