I took some plants from indoors to outdoors.I dont really have the option of letting them get adapted to sunlight.I made cages and once planted I took some other plant material and draped it across the cages.I thought by doing this they will be shaded untill the material dries up and decomposes.Going to these spots often isnt an option so I think I took a gamble.What do ya think?

inside to outside by itself wont hurt them unless its a very extreme temp change,wind, etc... and its always a gamble, especially if you cant check'em regular. it is a weed so they should do fine. i believe critters and bugs will be your main concern, and you blocked out the critters...i put theives,snitches,and cops in the bug catagory,

I didnt want to be in the area too long so I planted them with the root ball and soil intact and just dug a hole about twice the size of the rootball.I know not the best way but the quickest.
I just went back for the first time.I dont know if it helped anything but it sure didnt hurt.They went from 5-6 inches to over a foot in one week and they aint stretching.They just grew up and through the leaf material.I am relieved since I didnt know what to expect.The only downfall is I caught poison ivy from the first time being there lol
