I was just curious if anyone else lets their babies listen to tunes. I jammed a little Bob for my babies last night, and when I checked them today they were looking more healthier than ever. What would/do you have your plants listen to?

I keep a radio going in my grow room all of the time. It helps me to keep my mind focused while I'm communing with the girls, and I believe that they really enjoy it too. They like classical music, I like rock, so we compromise with classic rock...hehheh...

Peace...j.b.

yes i played music for a whole grow once. It was David Grisman Quintet.
Honestly, they liked Grisman the best, its great, up lifting music. it sound like good growing music. when it plays, it just seems like they should be growing. Grisman hits alot of different high and low notes, which promote different vibrations.
try it out, im sure you can DL grisman, or find a cheap CD some where.
Its also just really good music to smoke too, or drive to. really chill.
hes also a amazing Artist

That's cool. Ya spose it's the vibration from the sound they dig? Lol I know they can't "hear". I've heard of folks doing that in their greenhouses all the time, especially appreciated by vine plants such as tomatoes. Seem to really get bigger from tha jams.:)

Some experiments have been conducted to see how music affects plant growth. However, the scientific validity and subsequent analysis of the results of these experiments is debatable. The jury is still out on this one and many people just use what works well for them. Plants are living things and certainly react to their surrounding environment. There may be a combination of factors (outside of the obvious parameters of light, water, nutrition, humidity, etc.), in addition to the playing of music, that can affect the growth of plants--most notably, the skill, well being, and attitude of the gardener. Some people will claim that the concept that different types of music can affect plants is pseudoscience and quackery. However, some gardeners swear by playing certain types of music in their greenhouses.

Myself .... I believe it's "quackery"

They say playing music with flutes is very good for the plant:D
