:holysheep: wassup guys im growing 8 plants from seed there all around a foot and a half i think ready for flowering. whats the deal with flowering with fluoresent as i dont have a choice. am i going to get a poorer quantity and quality? or what.

I did a complete grow once, from seed to harvest using strictly fluorescent bulbs. I used 6 cool white 48" 40 watt bulbs, and two warm white 48" 40 watt bulbs, and the buds were nice, tight, and stony.

You'd probably get a bigger yield using an HPS, but if done properly, the fluorescent bulbs should work just fine. When I used the above mentioned lighting, I harvested about five ounces from three plants.

thanks alot dude that was the response i was looking for... right now im running 1 2foot 4tube t5, and 2 4foot 2 tube.. with all cool whit bulbs.. should i switch to a couple warm bulbs? is that red spectrum thanks again.

Put a bulb in the 3000k and below range and youll be good

If there is a flurescent blubs for flowering, I want to know right now!!
it gotta be red, it gotta give heats.. if there a flurescent kind of light to give off heat, and red I wanna that! it will be nice to have government to feel wasted to put too much money on FLIR system for leos,
FLIR can not detect fluorescent or low heats from the 10 ft away.. I checked it out.. its for real!

hey papa, i bought these but switched over to diff lights:
4foot or 2 foot F40T12 1900 lumins with a CRI rating of 90+. Straight up red spectrum, the bulbs glow a red-purple. Made by GE. google F40T12 you'll get some pics an better description.

I use my t5 light for grow and bloom, check out my nl grow. I just updated it.Hey papa 3000k is the light spetrum rating on the bulb used for bloom.
