Hi everyone. I was wondering. how big should new plants be before you can start to feed them? Should you start when theyre seedings? also if I didn't want to order nutes from online and I had to go to a reg commercial store such as the garden center in my town , any advice on nutes for babies veggin... Thanks yall Hero

it depends on who you ask about when to feed. alot of ppl say wait till they're 3 or 4 weeks. i myself start feeding when they're about a week old. however when i start feeding i do it with a very small amount of nutes like 1/8 strenght nutes and work my way up.

as for nutes you can find at a local garden center try to find something for veg thats like a 5-5-5 or even a 10-10-10 just don't over do it with the higher NPK nutes. then for flowering you want something like a 4-7-6 or even a 10-54-10.. i've used the 10-54-10 in the past again just don't over do it.. good luck

Its really depends on the kind of soil you are using... some soil has nutes in it ex: FoxFarm and others dont ex: Promix...

so what kinda soil are you using?

I am using an organic potting soil from home depot.. I had them in a miracle grow that had time release nutes but someone adivsed me ppl can have problems with that and some ppl have had bad results so I transplanted them into an organic soil.

Why do you not want to order on line? You can get some great nutes formulated for mj. The local feed store......???????

I was surprised to find my local Agway garden store is carrying Foxfarm nutes this season. The lady said they were trying some new products. I told her that IMO if they started carrying the FF soil as well they would do well. She smiled and said" the FF nutes have been selling very well, thats good to know." I can only hope she takes my advice. It would make my life a lot easier I hate to travel 40 miles for supplies.

I don't feed my seedlings till they look hungry....usually 3 weeks or so...then it is usually 1/4 strength the first time. Where I live home depot and lowes are my only local options so I order my GH flora series online off ebay. I think I paid 32 bucks for all 3 parts shipped last time. Jmo
