9ers fan here.
Used to be a die hard pittsburgh fan until Super Bowl XXX ('96). and here is EXACTLY why I hate them now.

The Steelers were denied "One for the Thumb" when game MVP Larry Brown intercepted quarterback Neil O'Donnell for the second time late in the fourth quarter with the Steelers trailing, 20-17

What I just put into bold will haunt me for the rest of my life. HE HANDED HIM THE BALL TWICE. With the EXACT same play in the same quarter.
Even after a decade I'm still pissed off about that game. I almost gave up watching football after that game. It looked rigged in that quarter.
