Europe Vacation

My family is planning on a 2 week vacation in Europe this next June. I want to hit some of the highlights and realize 2 weeks is not long enough to see everything.

So far I've been told that Frankfurt would be a good hub to stay at and then travel to say London, Paris, Amsterdam.

Knowing that this is an international site, I thought people would have some advice for travelers going abroad. Where to go, to stay, to eat, to see....etc.
